Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Fitywell builds meal and workout plans from information about your body and health. This policy explains exactly which health information we collect, why, who receives it, and how you control it. It adds to our Privacy Policy.

1. Health information we collect

  • Body measurements: weight, height, target weight, age and sex.
  • Body measurements you choose to log, such as waist, hips, chest, arm and thigh.
  • Progress photos (front, side or back) and a profile photo, if you choose to add them. See section 4 for how they are handled.
  • Goals and activity: your goal, activity level, training experience and schedule.
  • Health conditions and limits you tell us about: food intolerances, dietary restrictions, conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure, and injuries.
  • Medications and supplements you choose to track, and when you take them.
  • What you log: weight entries, meals, workouts, habits and weekly check-ins (such as energy and how the week went).
  • Meal photos and voice notes you choose to send for analysis. They are analyzed and not stored; only the foods you confirm are saved.
  • A meal plan from your dietitian or nutritionist, if you import one (photos, a PDF or pasted text). The file or text is read and not stored; only the meals you confirm are saved, with the name of who wrote the plan and its notes if you add them.
  • A workout plan from your personal trainer, if you import one (photos, a PDF or pasted text). The file or text is read and not stored; only the exercises you confirm are saved, with the name of who wrote the plan and its notes if you add them.
  • How your workouts went: the sets, reps, loads and how each set felt, and whether something hurt, if you tell us.
  • Messages you send to your coach, including questions you ask about an exercise.
  • Information we work out from the above, such as your daily calorie and nutrient targets.

2. Where it comes from

From you: in our quiz, during setup and while you use the app. We do not buy health information or receive it from other companies.

3. Why we use it

  • To build your meal and workout plans and adjust them as you go.
  • To show your progress and answer your questions in the coach.
  • To keep the service working and secure.

We do not use your health information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. Progress photos, measurements and your profile photo

  • They are optional. Nothing is taken or uploaded unless you choose a photo yourself.
  • Before a photo leaves your phone, the app makes it smaller and saves it as a new image. This removes the hidden details cameras add, such as location (GPS), the device and the time the photo was taken.
  • Photos are kept in private storage, in a folder that only your account can open. They are never public. To show them to you, the app uses links that stop working after one hour.
  • You can delete any progress photo in the app. Deleting your account deletes all of your photos and measurements.
  • Photos and measurements are not sent to our AI provider.

5. Sharing your progress

You can make an image of your progress to share, such as your weight trend, your best lifts or your week. The image is made on your phone. You choose what it shows: your exact weight and your name are off unless you turn them on. A background photo you pick for it stays on your phone and is never uploaded. Nothing is posted anywhere unless you share the image yourself, and once you do, the app or person you send it to handles it under their own terms.

6. Who receives it

Only the service providers that run Fitywell for us, under contract, and only what they need:

  • Supabase — stores your data (hosted on AWS in the United States).
  • Groq — the AI that generates your plans, writes coach replies, analyzes meal photos and voice notes, and reads a diet or a workout plan you import. It receives your first name and the health details needed for each request, never your full name, email or phone number.
  • Cloudflare and Vercel — host the website and the quiz, and carry the information you send through them.

We share health information with no one else, unless the law requires it. Payment providers (Stripe, Hotmart) and our email provider (Resend) do not receive it.

The guided workout can read your sets out loud using a voice installed on your phone or computer. Fitywell only uses voices that run on the device, so the text being read out loud is not sent to anyone.

7. Your consent and your rights

We collect and use your health information only with your consent, which you give separately when you create your account. You can:

  • Confirm and access — ask whether we have your health information and get a copy, including the list of providers that received it. A copy of what you saved in the app is also available in Profile → Download my data. The copy lists your progress photos but does not include the image files; ask us by email if you want them.
  • Delete it — delete a progress photo or your coach conversation at any time, or delete your account in Profile (cancel your subscription first), or email us. Quiz answers are deleted on request.
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, by email. Without it we can no longer build your plan, so withdrawing means closing your account.

Email contact@fitywell.com from the address on your account. We answer within 45 days. If we decline a request, reply to our answer to appeal, and we will review it again and explain the result.

8. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you before it takes effect and ask for your consent again when the law requires it.
